The sun rises over the water,
A golden glow, like a lover’s embrace.
The trees sway gently in the breeze,
As the birds sing their morning grace.
The lake stretches out before us,
A shimmering expanse of blue and green.
We launch our boat and set sail,
In search of adventure and dreams unseen.
The water is cool and refreshing,
As we glide across the lake’s embrace.
We pass by islands and coves,
And see the fish swimming in their place.
The sun beats down upon our skin,
Warming us to the core.
We laugh and splash, and let the world spin,
For this is the most wonderful day at the lake, evermore.
The clouds drift lazily across the sky,
As we bask in the beauty of nature’s grace.
We know that this moment will never die,
For it is etched in our hearts, a precious place.
So let us cherish this day at the lake,
