Endless Echoes of Sorrow

Tears trickle down my cheeks,
Dripping silently without any discreet peaks;
My heart begins to ache, as sorrow fills the air,
And time seems to stop in this moment of despair.

I can’t seem to find the reason for these tears,
Yet they flow uncontrollably year after year;
The weight on my chest grows heavier by the hour,
As if drowning, searching, for something I can’t devour.

Emotions intertwine with memories past,
Images flashing, blurring, and never to last;
I grasp at moments that are long gone,
Trying to hold on but forever moving on.

Endless hours pass by in this ocean of sorrow,
Time, it seems, doesn’t care or worry tomorrow;
With every breath, the pain intensifies,
As darkness engulfs me in its paralyzing guises.

In this sea of tears, there are no lifeguards on duty,
Nor a beacon to guide me back to safety;
I drift aimlessly, searching for an escape,
But the current is too strong and it doesn’t hesitate.

The sound of sobs fill the room like a haunting melody,
Breaking apart pieces of my heart bit by bit brutally;
I try to find solace in these overwhelming waves,
But they only seem to engulf me further into their caves.

As night turns to day, the tears still won’t subside,
A never-ending torrent, an unrelenting tide;
Dawn breaks with a new hope but soon fades away,
Leaving behind only emptiness and shadows of yesterday.

In this endless cycle, there seems to be no reprieve,
Just a constant barrage of pain, grief, and disbelief;
Yet through the tears, I find moments of clarity,
A small spark that ignites hope within my weary entity.

And so, with every teardrop that falls to the floor,
I gather strength, courage, and determination once more;
For even in the darkest times, light finds its way through,
Gently reminding me that there is still hope for a new view.
