The Promise of God to His People

A new beginning for all,
Our Creator hears our call;
His promise made with love and might,
To guide us through the darkest night.

In times of sorrow and despair,
God’Heart is always there;
A gentle hand to hold so tight,
As we journey towards the light.

Through trials and pain so deep,
His love shall never sleep;
With every tear that we shed,
God’s promise is ever ahead.

Strength in times of weakness,
Comfort when hearts are bleakest,
Our Lord has given His word,
To be our steadfast sword.

As the world spins round and round,
God’s unyielding love is found;
In moments of doubt and fear,
The promise of His presence is near.

Faith in Him shall not grow dim,
For He has promised to be with them,
A people who place their trust,
In the everlasting One we must.

In every valley and mountain high,
His handiwork is never a lie;
Through the wilderness of life’s way,
God’s promise leads us day by day.

A light unto our path, He shall be,
A rock when all else crumbles we see;
Our God has pledged to never leave,
His children in their time of need.

Forever bound by love divine,
God’s promise we know is mine;
To walk with Him throughout life’s road,
He reigns in our hearts as our Lord.
