Early morn, a day divine,
In spring’s freshness we find,
Rays of sun, hope combined,
Echoes of the risen Lord entwine.
The tomb once filled with sorrow,
Now emptied by a Savior,
Hope restored for days tomorrow,
In Him, our faith forever savor.
As bells ring in the distance,
Hearts awaken to His presence,
Sin forgiven, fears dispensed,
We worship, joyously fervent.
Nature’s beauty surrenders,
In bloom, its vibrant splendor,
As Christ our banner defenders,
A love unending we tender.
With families and friends near,
We share this joyful day,
Together in prayer and cheer,
The world celebrates the risen way.
Easter egg hunts and baskets,
Festive meals to cherish,
Remind us of love’s assets,
His sacrifice we forever shall cherish.
The empty cross our symbol,
Our hope and faith renewed,
In Christ our victory, wholly,
We live with purpose, forever true.
Angels sang at His birth,
And now they rejoice once more,
Proclaiming salvation’s worth,
A new life for us to explore.
Brightly colored eggs and bunnies,
Symbolize rebirth and renewal,
As we face life’s great battles,
Our faith in Him never ebbs or dwindles.
Lent’s journey now complete,
A season of reflection ends,
The resurrection our defeat,
Of darkness and sin that transcends.
He is alive, He is risen,
Death could not hold Him down,
His love unbroken, undying,
For us, a crown to wear with honor and grace.
Our hearts forever grateful,
As we walk in His light,
Easter brings hope renewed,
In Christ’s resurrection, our souls take flight.
